Junior Competitions 2024/25

The U9-U17 competitions listed below are subject to number of players registered this season. Some competitions will need to be merged to ensure there are sufficient teams to run a competition (minimum 4 to 6). There are 3 stages in junior cricket which helps to define ball type, pitch length, outfield size etc. Girls and Boys can play in the Juniors Competition. There is also a girls only Competition. Please refer to Blue Book for more information:-

U9 - Players born 01/09/2015 to 31/08/2016

• U9 T20 - Stage 1 Participation format 

Match time - Sat 8am and 10.30am

U10 - Players born 01/09/2014 to 31/08/2015

• U10 T20 - Stage 1 Participation format

Match time - Sat 8AM and 10.30AM

U11 - Players born 01/09/2013 to 31/08/2014

• U11 T20 - Stage 1 Participation format

Match time - Sat 8AM and 10.30AM​​​​

• U11/12 30 over - Stage 2 Traditional (out you are out) format

Match time - Sat 8am

 

• U11/12 T20 - Stage 2 Traditional (out you are out) format. Generally for strong players 

       Match time - Sat 1PM

• U12 Div 3 T20 - Stage 2 Traditional (out is out) format

Match time - Stage 3.30pm

• U11 30 Over - Stage 2 - Traditional Format (for stronger players)

Match time - Sun 9AM

U12 - Players born 01/09/2012 to 31/08/2013

• U12 T20 Div 1 - Stage 2 traditional format (strongest players recommended for this competition - skills test maybe required)

Match time - Sat 1pm

• U11/12 T20 - Stage 2 Traditional (out you are out) format.

Match time - Sat 1pm

• 12 T20 Div 2 - Stage 2 traditional (out you are out) format

Match time - Sat 3.30pm

• U12 T20 Div 3 - Stage 2 traditional format (out is out). Has been a strong competition attracting younger 10/11 year olds wanting to play traditional cricket for the first time

Girls - Female players only. Age and skill are used to place players in teams/comps

• Girls Junior T20 - Stage 1 Participation format (never played or developing skills) - generally U11. Match time - Sat 10.30AM

 

• Girls Senior T20 - Stage 1 participation format (for players that have completed one season) - generally U13.

Match time - Sat 1pm TBC

• Girls T20 - Stage 2 traditional format (out is out) - generally U15

Match time - Sat 3.30pm TBC

• Girls T20 - Stage 3 traditional format - generally U17 (strongest players for this competition, considered Open age group)
